Tasting notes
Good medium red. Very pure, deep, bright aromas of dark berries, black cherry and licorice. Sweet, sappy and seamless, offering a wonderfully pliant texture for young Clos Vougeot from a structured vintage. Primary dark fruit flavors are accented by herbs and licorice. The very long, mounting finish features firm but well-integrated tannins. Give this one at least five or six years in the cellar.

Gentle fragrance of pure lightly spiced red and black fruit. Tannins and oak take their place on the palate but neither is strident or overbearing. Paper-fine tannins. Gently persistent and harmonious. (JH)
Good bright red. Fresh, pure nose offers dark cherry, licorice and wild herbs. Dense and sappy in the mouth, with perfumed flavors similar to the aromas. Elegant and nicely balanced. Mounts slowly on the youthful, firm back end, finishing with lovely aromatic persistence. This is really packed with fruit.
