Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2021-2027, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Dec 2018

Aged in 600-litre demi-muids and 20% new oak. 100% whole bunch. Tank sample. Some sweet oak on the nose here too, as in the Maison Roche de Bellene Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes, but balanced by the stemmy freshness. Much drier on the finish, more chiselled. More delicate and fragrant. Moreish and refreshing. (JH)
