There’s a certain broad, honeyed quality to this wine on the nose. Very pleasant current accessible drinking, with a little chewiness suggesting ageing potential. (JR)

Tight, focused nose that seems a little suppressed by sulphur. Edgy finish. Correct rather than stunning. (JR)

Mid greenish straw. Light, savoury nose. Excellent acidity and balance. Really very suave and satin-textured with a hint of spice but no heaviness. Real lift and grace. Already appealing but not at peak yet. Quite long. None of the meanness of some vintages of Auxey. Eloquent. QGV (JR)
