The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Sisters is a consumer-friendly, luscious, deep ruby/purple-colored wine with up-front blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, a hint of raspberry, medium to full body, low acidity and gentle tannin. It is ideal for drinking now and over the next 10-12 years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate The Sisters is rich, deep and pliant, all of which make it a good choice for drinking now and over the next few years. A host of dark cherry, smoke, cedar and tobacco meld into the super-expressive finish. This is an especially fruit-driven style for Calistoga, but it works nicely.

Score 90-93/100 · Drink 2017-2026, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2015

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Sisters is bright and precise, with a real savory/mineral edge. Vivid and finely sculpted, the 2013 is shaping up to be a terrific wine. Lavender, plum, spice, mint and violet add shades of nuance on the persistent finish. There is a lot to look forward to here.
