Medium dark red. Red cherry, dried berries and pepper on the nose; very zinfandel. Then juicy and bright on the palate, with very good definition and grip. Sappy, spicy berry flavors are supported by a firm tannic spine. This, too, would appear to need three to five years of additional bottle aging.
