Tasting notes
Riper still with extremely expressive yet elegant and exotic fruit aromas framed by the wonderfully mineral quality that the finest Chablis' all seem to possess. The flavor profile is delicate and fine and offers yet more minerality and a certain quality the French refer to as aerien, which literally means airy but in this case, it was meant to suggest a certain elegant refinement and purity. The finish is curious because there is an almost tannic quality to it and at first, the wine seems to be a bit short but then it positively explodes and just keeps on coming. Extremely impressive for the vintage.
