Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas of strawberry liqueur and smoky underbrush. Fat and sweet but with only modest vibrancy; fuller than usual for this wine, in the style of the year. Finishes with very fine tannins and good length.

Moderately saturated medium red. Pretty aromas of raspberry and violet; slightly reduced. Silky, spicy and moderately sweet, with precise flavors of dark berries and violet. A bit dry-edged, but the tannins are essen tially soft.
