Tasting notes
The 2015 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard sports vivacious tropical fruit notes of warm pineapple, green guava and mango with touches of baker’s yeast, cashew paste, pie crust and ginger. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals a cornucopia of tropical fruit flavors, restrained by plenty of savory accents and finishing with great freshness and depth. 474 cases were made.

The 2015 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard is a dense, unctuous wine with tons of sheer concentration. The 2015 has developed nicely over the last year, but I would still prefer to cellar it to see if more subtlety develops over time. This is one of the most powerful, structured Chardonnays in the range.
The 2015 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard is deep, powerful and intense. It is also one of the least expressive wines in this range. Perhaps the mountain phenolics need time to soften a bit. Today, the Dinner comes across as raw and not as formed as the other Chardonnays in the lineup.
