Full bottle 1,300 g. This is the estate's top cuvée, based on their 2 hectares of particularly old vines and given 24 months in 100% new barrels. Very sweet indeed but not sugary and with sufficient freshness still. Like liquid crème brûlée. (JR)

Deep coppery gold. Not much nose. Sweet and barley sugar but without great freshness and structure. Just a tad sugary. But there is some evolution too. Fine but not a standout. (JR)

Extremely sweet and rich with an interesting grapefruit peel note to it and some structure although the massive richness may make it approachable quite early. I was also very impressed by the 2001 of this special cuvée when I tasted it last October, rather less so by the 2000. (JR)
