Score 16/20 · Drink 2023-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Jul 2023

Aged in 33% new, 67% neutral Hungarian oak. Distinctly hazy medium to dark garnet. Aromas of red-apple skin, raspberries and cherries. Spiced sour-cherry and raspberry flavours have a tangy quality and powdery texture. Excellent, even slightly volatile acidity lingers in the finish with hints of cedar and dried herbs. Unusual. (AY)
