Score 70/100 · Drink 1991, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

I tasted one agreeably fruity, fairly simple, medium-weight, and fully mature 1967 Mouton in 1974. More recently the wine has shown itself to be shallow, hollow, and in decline. In the late eighties, a musty, mushroomy quality emerged. Drink up! Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 1/91.
