Properly mature, in a way that is almost a bit dried out now. No primary fruit left … but perhaps there wasn't much in the first place? There's attractive shoe-polish character with moderate length. To drink now. (RH)

Bottle number 10674. ‘It rained during harvest but if you can harvest within two days this has no consequences.’ 960 bottles re-released for the market. This needs lots of air and changes all the time. Undergrowth with a layer of cherries underneath. Malt and minerals and a smoky note. Sweet small fruit. Finely balanced whole of focused cherry and raspberry and energetic, fine ripe acidity and super-fine, long powdery tannins. (WS)
