Organic wine. 70% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne. Unoaked. Beautifully fragrant with ripe, spicy stone fruit and a hint of blossom. Unexpectedly woody (not oaky) on the palate, with a sort of nutty character that is hard to describe. Tangy bitter freshness on the finish suggests it would be great at the table. (JH)

(raised entirely in stainless steel tanks) Bright violet. Smoke-accented black and blue fruits, olive and a hint of musky earth on the deeply perfumed nose. Smooth and expansive on the palate, showing good energy to the deep cassis and bitter cherry flavors. Takes a sweeter turn with air and finishes long and broad, featuring gentle tannic grip and strong, spicy lift.

Regarding the reds from 2015, I was only able to taste the 2015 Crozes Hermitage. It offers a classic Northern Rhône style with ripe blackberry, crushed rock, peppery herbs and hints of graphite. Medium+ bodied, beautifully concentrated, rich and structured, with present tannin, it will have a decade of longevity.

(aged in all stainless steel): Vivid purple. Highly perfumed black and blue fruit aromas are sharpened by a peppery nuance. Nervy and focused on the palate, offering gently sweet boysenberry and black currant flavors that spread out slowly with air. Finishes zesty and long, with lingering spiciness and gentle tannins. No excess fat here and no gamy aspects, either.
