The 2019 Le Château is starting to develop. It has fondant-like flesh and ripe peachy fruit, but then it's held together by a structured frame that gives a tannic sensation, which is very reassuring. Drinking well now. There is no need to wait, but that grip should give you hope for a while in bottle.

There is a pronounced, and somewhat curious, mintiness to the lightly wooded nose of pear, apple and orange peel. There is again fine richness to the solidly voluminous flavors where the minty character displayed by the nose resurfaces on the ever-so-mildly warm finale. This is actually an interesting and well-made wine, but it would be fair to observe that it's not especially typical.
