Only faintly more interesting than their Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets premier cru on first impressions. Correct, ripe apple fruit and some saline minerality, but little else. The finish unveils great concentration and persistence, however – so this is probably just a bit shut-down right now. (RH)

Very broad and concentrated. Less sweet than many a Bâtard, and a little less sumptuous. Just a little notch up in terms of weight from the premiers crus from this address. (JR)
