Made from old vines, about 70 years old, in Brochon by a talented grower. What a treat to find any wine from this much sought-after grower! Especially with some age. Some development on the nose. Quite severe on the palate. Correct but not for lovers of New World Pinot. This is much more about frame than flesh. I would be inclined to sit on this even longer to see whether the fruit will eventually triumph? (JR)

Medium ruby-red. Very fresh aromas of blackberry, spices, menthol and mint. Pure black fruit flavors nicely framed by lively acidity. The tannins are firm but not dry.
