Score 87/100 · Drink 2015-2017, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

In the same mold as the 2014, the 2013 Condrieu La Loye is a charming, medium-bodied, straightforward effort that has solid notes of buttered tangerine, white currants and white peach. It’s best consumed over the coming couple of years.

Pale yellow. Fresh pear and Meyer lemon on the vibrant, mineral-accented nose. Gently chewy in texture, offering lively flavors of bitter pear skin, citrus zest and violet braced by tangy acidity. Finishes long and sappy, with a touch of anise and a lingering bitter quinine note.
