Bright ruby. Bitter cherry and espresso on the nose. Palate dominated by chocolatey oak flavor. Not yet showing much flesh or depth, and thus comes across as oaky and tannic on the back end. This cuvee has gained velour in recent months, said Mortet, adding that it was even more tannic at the start.
