Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 RWT Shiraz presents aromas of cassis, black cherries and mulberries with hints of dark chocolate, anise and lavender. Medium to full-bodied, it is intensely fruited, has firm, rounded tannins plus great freshness and vibrancy. It is still very youthful.

80% new oak. Blackish crimson. Spicy, medicinal nose. More spindly and drier than the 2009. Lots of tannin still; huge tannin impact. Very savoury and youthful. Hold on! Great stuff. (JR)
15 months in 80% new French oak. TA 6.6 g/l, pH 3.58. Creamy, sweet spices. Firm tannins, seems to show it’s alcohol a bit more than its brethren. Impressive and forceful. (RH)
