Score 89/100 · Drink 2018-2021, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Dec 2018
The 2017 Fiano di Avellino Radici is slightly weakened and subdued in this hot and dry vintage. The wine opens to a bright and luminous appearance followed by fresh notes of white peach, pear and Golden Delicious apple. The aromas are all perfectly matched to the variety, but they are delivered with less intensity in this vintage. This white wine is crisp and cooling in terms of mouthfeel.
