Tasting notes
Cask sample. Nutty characters. Bright acidity. Good concentration and focus. Some mineral sensations on the finish. Typical Chassagne with that combination of nut/orange/stone fruit. (AWH)

Offering up notes of peach, nutmeg, dried white flowers and freshly baked bread, the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Mazures is medium to full-bodied, taut and electric, with racy acids and a saline finish. It's always a terrific cuvée, but this year's is especially good.
The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Mazures 1er Cru has a taut and fresh nose, a clever reduction at play here, one that does not impede across the terroir expression. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good weight, vibrant and poised with good length on the finish. Excellent.
