Bodegas Tradicion already released a handful of superb bottles of 1975 Oloroso a few years ago, and now it is the Palo Cortado's turn. These wines are usually blended in a solera system and bottled as non-vintage wines, meaning this 1975 Palo Cortado is a rare single-vintage Palo Cortado. The nose shows a slightly volatile character with some varnish, hazelnut, iron rust and orange marmalade that is followed by a really tasty palate that is quite sharp, denoting an old age and ending with a mineral, chalky, salty sensation. It's a very concentrated, old Palo Cortado. Only 250 bottles and 50 magnums have been filled.
