Bright lemon-green color. Vibrant aromas of lime and anise. Juicy, sappy and light on its feet, but with no shortage of texture, offering racy, sharply chiseled citrus and wet stone flavors. Finishes surprisingly pliant and very long, with reverberating lemon and saline notes.

(this parcel features essentially the same 1949 vines as the Chenevottes but the soil is shallower here): In a distinctly rockier style than the Chenevottes, offering scents of dried fruits and minerals. Plush and tactile, with strong acidity framing and lifting the wet stone and lemon flavors. Not an easy style but finishes smooth and dry, with notes of lime and liquid stone and lovely perfumed lift.
