Tasting notes
This is restrained and extremely tight while revealing precious little aromatically beyond hints of pure white flower, pear and spice. However, the rich, full and strikingly powerful flavors are even more imposingly-scaled than those of the Criots and possess superb depth of dry extract and huge length on the detailed, focused, beautifully balanced and penetrating finish that seems to go on without end. This is a potentially great Montrachet and I really admire the interplay of power and volume juxtaposed against an almost lilting mouth feel. Jun 2010, www.burghound.com, Drink: 2020+
