Tasting notes
To emphasise the mineral expression Klaus Peter Keller slightly changed the proportion of components, with a greater contribution from Kirchspiel (40%) and Morstein (20%). Begins with a buttery aroma on the nose but then the fragrance freshens up with some ripe green fruit and a chalky, mineral note. In a similar sequence on the palate, the first impression is that of a creamy texture, followed by a bit more bite with green fruit and apple core. Minerality takes over the finish with gentle chalky and smoky notes. (MS)

Great tension, solid and ready. (JR)
Polished stone on the nose. Well mannered. Still quite a bit of acidity and astringency but there is clearly a lot here. Maybe it needs a few more months to shine? Encouraging persistence. (JR)
