Score 87/100 · Drink 2015, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

Deep garnet-brick in color, the 1999 RWT Shiraz has an earthy, meaty and gamey nose accented by licorice and tar notes over dried berries. The earthy, medium-bodied palate is elegant and very savory with crisp acidity. It is fading slightly.

The elegantly-styled, restrained 1999 Shiraz RWT is an elegant example of a Barossa Shiraz. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by a medium-bodied wine offering up floral, raspberry, cherry, and currant aromas nicely dosed with subtle wood. Enjoy this pure, refreshing 1999 over the next decade. Robert Parker, Oct 2002
