Pale, bright yellow. A sexy essence of Meursault on the nose, offering aromas of lemon, lime, fresh apricot, pear, hazelnut and smoke. Thick and solid yet racy as well, with a strong element of salty minerality currently dominating in the middle palate. This seamless but very laid-back wine finishes with outstanding mounting length.

An overtly smoky nose features exotically spiced aromas of tea, pear, apple and acacia blossom. The beautifully detailed, stony and delicious flavors possess a highly sophisticated mouth feel before concluding in a beautifully persistent finish. A classic Genevrières of style and grace.
Suitably broad and ripe in style, but more lean and precise than the buttery Meursaults of old. Tense, vivid, flavoursome. (RH)
About the producer
Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
