A complex and enticing wine thatâs dark and meaty on the nose, with leather, cigar box, game, licorice, earth and mature cassis. Full-bodied and dense, with licorice, vanilla, prune and forest floor flavors and firm, slightly grainy yet chewy tannins. Crisp, lifted acidity in the finish. Drink now.

About the producer

Grattamacco
Grattamacco’s story begins when Piermario Meletti Cavallari purchased an abandoned vineyard in 1977 and grafted over many of the vines. He produced one of the earliest Super Tuscans in 1982 – a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese and a wine which continues to earn acclaim today.
