Score 87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Deep ruby-red. Brooding aromas of boysenberry and herbs. Intensely flavored and juicy, with the boysenberry note carrying through in the mouth. Not yet complex but has the backbone to develop in bottle. Finishes with slightly drying tannins.
