Big and with lift and life – lots of chewy (added?) tannin. Thick and sweet with a real core, not just formulaic. Good balance. Pretty powerful and no hurry to drink. Very good value. This tastes as though it might well cost more than a tenner. (JR)

(a blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc) Dark red. Redcurrant, raspberry, fresh herbs and a hint of truffle on the nose. Juicy, intensely flavored and tightly wound; nicely concentrated red berry and light herbal flavors. Bound-up today, but shows good texture and sweetness. Finishes firmly tannic but not hard.
