Tasting notes
Mature ruby with brickstone rim. Cough-syrup herb liqueur, fine dried-fruit notes and quite balsamic oak notes. Fully open on the nose. Quite sweet fruit with a good dollop of tannin but not without depth. Very intense and sweet on the finish and perhaps could be a little fresher. (WS)

Mid-crimson; not one of the deepest. Very lively with some real lift. At first not an attention-grabber, but sneaks up behind and displays – a lot of sweet oak! Too much. Too sweet. Fumy. A bit brutal. (JR)
