Tasting notes
The NV Champagne Grand Cru Mesnil-Sur-Oger Blanc De Blancs Reserve Selection Brut has a medium straw/gold color and is appealing and ripe with notes of preserved lemon, ripe peach, honeycomb, and ginger. Medium-bodied, it continues on the palate with a delicate mousse, and its ripe fleshiness complements its backbone of fresh acidity nicely. It’s in an excellent position for enjoying now or over the next few years.

Coming from Mesnil-sur-Oger, the NV Champagne Blanc De Blancs Reserve Selection Brut is based on the 2019 vintage, with 30% reserve wine added to the blend. It boasts a bright yellow color in the glass, while the nose reveals aromas of ripe white peach, savory flinty smoke, raw almond, and preserved lemon. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a broad-shouldered approach, with focused acidity to hold it together, and a savory and briny finish. It would pair fantastically with a simple roast chicken and is prime for drinking now or over the next 5-6 years. 3 grams per liter dosage.
The NV Champagne Blanc De Blancs Reserve Selection has soft aromas of lime, cotton candy, and green apple. Extending to the palate, the bright green apple note is refreshing and makes for a delightful aperitif. This is a classic, medium-bodied, clean, and straightforward Blanc de Blancs to drink over the next 5-6 years.
The latest release of the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Réserve Sélection exhibits aromas of crisp green apple, dried white flowers, hazelnuts and pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and racy, with chewy extract, tangy acids and a delicate, pinpoint mousse, concluding with a chalky finish. It's a precise, flavorful blanc de blancs that's already showing well.
