Bright purple. Vibrant blackcurrant on the nose, with a good dose of white pepper adding spiciness. Impressively juicy and sharply focused, with brisk cherry and dark berry flavors and fine-grained tannins arriving on the close. Becomes sweeter with air, taking on a darker fruit personality but maintaining superb energy. I love the balance here.

Opaque ruby. Explosive blackberry and creme de cassis scents are seductive and utterly roomfilling. A real fruit bomb, with dark fruit flavors accented by Asian spices and vanilla; a velvety texture; and a sweet, extremely long finish. Remarkably pure, vibrant and concentrated. But there are only 200 cases of it.
