Smells very slightly riper in its fruit profile than the Graacher Himmelreich. But also more stony/mineral and it is the mineral that takes precedence on the nose. On the palate, perfect balance between mouth-watering acidity and pure citrus. All very primary at the moment but not simple. Juicy fruit and a sense of anticipation on the finish. Extreme precision and impressive length.  (JH)

Fresh herbs wild and green. Cool, crisp and stunningly poised. Surprisingly supple on the palate. Length like watching the entirety of a sunset over a calm summer sea. One hopes for it never to end. (PS)

The intense wild herb character gives this sleek and compact 2021 Mosel GG a very striking personality. Lots of crisp pear and white peach fruit fill this picture out very neatly. The impressive length suggests this has many years ahead of it. Drink or hold.
