Essence of ripe lemons and a touch of clementine. An impression of creaminess even on the nose. On the palate, full, rich, mouth-filling and deliciously fresh. Classy oaked Chardonnay. Deep, crisp and even. (JH)

The 2019 Chardonnay Haynes Vineyard comes from the Coombsville appellation in the southern part of Napa Valley. Exotic lemon and tropical fruits, honeyed flowers, and baking spices all define the nose of this pure, medium-bodied, soft, forward, mid-weight Chardonnay. It should be enjoyed over the coming 3-4 years. It doesn’t match the 2017 and 2018, but it’s clearly an outstanding Chardonnay.

The 2019 Chardonnay Haynes Vineyard shows why this Coombsville site is so magical. Ample and textured, the Haynes possesses remarkable depth in every dimension. Lemon confit, apricot, almond, sage and dried flowers open effortlessly, revealing a Chardonnay of pedigree and class. Don't miss it.
