Tasting notes
The breathtaking, peachy aromas of this extraordinary Mosel wine come very close to perfection. So ripe and succulent for a dry riesling that it's hard to believe, but it retains staggering precision as it glides over your palate, then takes off in the direction of the outer solar system. We love the creamy quality of the super-long, mineral finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold.

Bottled in mid-March, Busch's 2019 Marienburg Felsterrasse is open and refined on the very elegant, deep and aromatic bouquet that indicates perfectly ripe and lush,\ golden Riesling berries. Full-bodied, complex and silky on the palate, this is an elegant yet rich and powerful, firmly structured, crystalline and persistently salty (enormously salty!) Riesling from biblical old vines. The finish is very long and complex, with firm tannins and great aging capacity. From a mystical place, as Clemens used to say. "There is so much energy in this vineyard, where I prefer to be alone." Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
