Tasting notes
The 2009 Laurence Graff Reserve is based on 92% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with other Bordeaux varieties and sees 20 months in 80% new French oak. The wood is handled well on the nose with blackberry, cedar and mint aromas that gently waft from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a prickle of white pepper sprinkled over the red cherry and cassis fruit. The finish is harmonious, even if there is not quite the length of its peers. Fine, but I was expecting more. Drink now-2018. Importer: Broadbent Selections, Richmond, VA; tel. (804) 353-1818
