Tasting notes
Oligocene limestone soils. RS 40 g/l approx. Very heady, opulent nose. Broad and racy. Just the right side of syrupy but actually quite tightly laced on the end. Expressive and rich. But a challenge to find the right food for this. Very long. (JR)

The 2015 Gewurztraminer Hengst is pure and flinty on the nose, perfectly ripe and precise. Full-bodied , round and piquant, this is a tension-filled, sweet and vital Gewurz with grip and fine tannins. Tight and long. A gorgeous wine!
