(racked) Good ruby-red. Extremely primary aromas of blackberry and black raspberry, complicated by flowers and spices. This offers utterly compelling dark fruit, mineral and game flavors, with a floral element lifting the wine. Very classy and intense, conveying an impression of outstanding harmony. Finishes wonderfully sweet, long and hard to spit. A distinctly feminine style of Charmes; not at all a powerhouse.
