(bottled in June of this year) Red-ruby. Sappy red and black fruits on the nose, complicated by licorice, dried flowers, leather and smoke. Sweet, broad and round, with strong redcurrant and spice flavors. Tannins are very ripe and suave for this bottling. This will provide drinking pleasure earlier than the '99 Bricco.
