Hailing from one of Jean-Marc Roulot's favorite vintages, the 2007 Meursault Tillets continues to drink very well, offering up a pretty bouquet of citrus zest, crisp green apple, white flowers, blanched almonds and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and incisive, with a bright spine of acidity and a fleshy core of fruit, it's elegantly muscular, concluding with a saline finish. It seems to have attained an attractive plateau of maturity, as the wine hadn't changed much since I last drank it in 2018.

The 2007 Meursault Tillets from Jean-Marc Roulot has a refined bouquet with hazelnut and flint aromas: extraordinarily tense and stony. I found myself writing the word “pixelated." The palate is extremely well-balanced with Granny Smith apple and fresh lime. It is more citric than other wines from Roulot than I have encountered, and if am to quibble, it does not quite possess the persistency of his finest Meursaults. However, it appears to be aging with style and grace and I would enjoy this wine over the next five or six years.

Reticent aromas of lemon, lime and flowers. Juicy, lively and intense, with very firm and complex flavors of lime, flower blossom and minerals. Offers a lovely combination of flesh and spine, and noteworthy precision to its sweet fruit. Long on the aftertaste. These vines face south/southeast and always produce fruit that is 0.5% higher in sugar, which rounds out the palate, noted Roulot, who said that this is 12.9% natural alcohol in 2007.

(from a 600-liter barrel) Musky aromas of orange, lemon and spices. Juicy and firm-edged, in a rather rigorous style. Purer in the mouth than the rather reduced nose suggests, offering juicy citrus flavors and lovely grip. Roulot considers this to be much more classic Tillets than the more opulent wines he produced from these vines in '06 and '05. The very persistent finish is a bit strict but not hard. A taste from a tank was even more bracing and fruit-driven.
