Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2012
Moderately saturated red. Rather sullen on the nose, hinting at redcurrant, earth, mint and burnt orange rind; lower-pitched than the two village wines here. Then creamy-sweet and supple in the mouth, with the redcurrant fruit complicated by some underlying minerality. Still, this broad, dry wine comes across as less sharply delineated than the Vosne villages .
