Tasting notes
Rochioli's 2015 Pinot Noir Three Corner is a dark, powerful, authoritative wine built on serious concentration. Black cherry, plum, lavender, spice and menthol give the wine its distinctive feel. There is plenty of vintage 2015 intensity, but just enough freshness to balance things out. The Three Corner has all the breadth to handle the fruit.

Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Three Corner Vineyard offers a wonderfully fragrant nose of roses and violets with a core of raspberry preserves, cherry coulis and black berries plus a waft of forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, it is solidly built for age, with firm, ripe tannins and great freshness supporting the generous fruit. Still very youthful, leave it 2-3 years and drink it over the next 15+ years. 159 cases were made.
Needless to say, the duck was perfect with the 2015 Rochioli Three Corner Pinot Noir, whose penetrating blackberry, blueberry, mint, spice and floral aromas lead to a wonderfully juicy, intense palate featuring a mineral element, a distinct light touch and a long, rising, suavely tannic finish.
