Tasting notes
This one looked quite a bit more evolved than the 01. Nice red/dark fruit with some oak. Really full bodied and very soft but not as dense as the 2001.

The 2000 Zinfandel Old Vines (1,100 cases) reveals a macerated, sweet jammy cherry-scented bouquet, loads of glycerin, and soft, low acid, plum/prune flavors displaying hints of balsam wood and pepper. It is a luscious Zin to enjoy over the next 5-6 years. Tel. (707) 963-0940; Fax (707) 963-8683
