Tasting notes
The 2016 Zinfandel Kirschenmann reveals a pretty bouquet of cherries, cassis, raspberries and a subtle touch of bay leaf. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and supple, with tangy acids, fine-grained tannins and good concentration, elegant in profile but concluding with a youthfully chalky finish. This sandy Lodi vineyard is owned by winemaker Tegan Passalacqua.

The 2016 Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard is bright and lifted and wonderfully nuanced. Like so many of the 2016s, the Kirschenmann offers lovely mid-palate richness and resonance to play off some of the more floral notes. Silky, gracious and totally inviting, the 2016 has so much to offer. This is a gorgeous wine from Turley, and also one of the most compelling wines I have tasted from this site thus far.
