Tasting notes
The Vosne-Romanee-Clos des Reas exhibits a deep ruby color, a sweet, earthy, leathery, black-raspberry-scented nose, rich, medium to full-bodied flavors, expansive texture, and soft tannins and low acidity in the long, lusty finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. In top vintages, this wine is always one of Burgundy's stars, so it is not surprising that it is top-notch in 1990. Importer: various American importers due to the fact that these wines are brokered both by Christopher Cannan of Europvin and Peter Vezan.
