Deep ruby-red. Black raspberry, cassis, black cherry, smoke, licorice and herbs on the nose. Lovely sweetness and vinosity in the mouth; complicating, slightly high-toned notes of woodsmoke and roasted coffee. Tannins are a bit tough today, but this is quite long.
