40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 8% Cabernet Franc. Anne Le Naour became technical director of the estate. Further improvements were made to the second reception of the grape harvest. A soil audit was carried out at the property, and an environmental management system was implemented alongside a commitment to return land to cultivation. Deep crimson. Light, correct, Cabernet on the nose. Just a little austere and stringy but with some core of ripe fruit. Sucky stony finish. (JR)

Tasted blind. Smudgy dark ruby. Very sweet and drying on the end. (JR)

A juicy, sexy style of Margaux, with a dark ruby/plum/purple color, some nice blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, sweet tannin and a lush, heady mouthfeel, this is another sleeper of the vintage and an excellent, possibly outstanding Margaux to drink over the next decade.
