Tasting notes
Medium red. Tangy, pure aromas of raspberry and crushed stone. Sweet, pure and sharply delineated; quite creamy for 2004 but with excellent thrust and sappy character thanks to its firm acidity. The finish shows a hint of resin as well as a bit of unabsorbed acidity that calls for at least a few years of patience.

Gorgeously pure and exceptionally fresh and elegant red pinot fruit aromas are nuanced by subtle spice and violet notes that lead to round, sweet and detailed flavors that are at once supple yet possess good depth, particularly on the minerally and equally fresh finish. I especially like the balance here and while this is not dramatically concentrated, it should age gracefully for up to a decade.
Somewhat medicinal aromas of redcurrant, licorice and mint; stunted but pure. Sweet and dense for village wine, but today the fruit seems a bit muffled. Finishes with good length but slightly dry tannins. Seems rather oaky.
