Medium red. Red fruits, minerals and spices on the nose. Juicy, floral and penetrating, if a bit reduced. Densely packed but has good Chambolle tang and energy, with the smoky oak sweetening but not overwhelming the fruit. Intensely flavored, firm and long, with good clarity on the aftertaste.

(includes a sizable percentage of premier cru juice, especially from Combe d'Orveaux and Sentiers) Medium red. Red fruit-dominated aromas of strawberry and raspberry liqueur, lifted by a floral element. Fairly dense but juicy, with flavors of spicy red fruits and rose petal. Less complex in the mouth than on the nose, but finishes pure and long, with suave tannins and a late hint of blood orange.
